The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for class XII and class X examinations 2014.
The board kept to its promise of releasing the examination schedule in the last week of December unless like the last year. The date sheet is said to be similar to the one published last year.
For students in class 12, the board examinations will begin on March 1, with English core, elective and functional whereas the physics exam will held on March 5.
While mathematics is scheduled for March 20, the exams end by April 17, just like the previous year.
For students of class 10 who do not opt for the school based examinations, the exams commence on March 1 with language subjects like Tamil, Sindhi, Marathi, Russian, Painting, Spanish, Kashmiri, mathematics on March 3 and ends on March 19,
