The ICSE students, while submitting the application form for class XI admissions, will have to fill a separate option form and mention if they are opting for best-five option or not. This will help the centralised admission committee to list them in the merit list accordingly.
According to Sunil Magar, chairman of centralised admission committee, if the ICSE students want to go for best-5 option, they can choose five subjects from group I that consists of four compulsory subjects and group II comprising two subjects.
“If they do not want the best-5 option, they can opt for marks of all the seven subjects they have chosen for class X from group I, II and III,” said Magar.
ICSE students can purchase the forms from any junior college but submit them only at Fergusson Collcege, S P College and Nowrosjee Wadia College.
“Grace marks for sports persons will now be applicable to ICSE, CBSE and other board students too,” said a senior member of centralised admission committee
